Tucson August Meeting 082706 1pm Bookman's

Allright all of the previously requested dates on the old meeting thread were booked. I have requested a 3 hour slot (thats all there was) from 1pm to 4 pm Sunday August 27th at the Bookmans on 1930 E. Grant (approved by our CR). every other day was full except a half hour here or there.

 

I received the confirmatin email we are in for the above time slot. Bring food!

 

I'm assuming there are meeting rooms. How is it labeled? Are we assigned a certain named room?
As for food, is it a potluck for a meal or just munchies?

 

Bookman's has a Community Room in the far back right corner (from the entrance), through the children's section. The children's section is labeled very well with a huge sign over the top.

 

Bring anything! Weve had everything from chips to pizza to lasanga!

 

Can someone change the header on the site to the new time and palce? thanks!

Can we put a toy drive event on the list of topics, Cat?

A drive to build up our toy supply so we have something to give the kids when we do the hospital visits.

I assume I will see someone from the TFF before I leave in a week so when I do I"ll give my money to them, I just can't count on getting it to the proper hands in time. If that's OK?

 

No I think the official member requirements are 3 meetings and at least one event. this will be my third meeting, and I have been to a few events...

The shirts will be done tomorrow, and seeing as how you live pretty close to me we can probably meet somewhere and you can give me the money, which I will pass along to Jack at the next meeting, and I can give you your shirt.

 

I will try but time is moving faster than I can.

Mike, I THINK U were already a full voting member, you filled that requirememt a long time ago.

 

hmm... maybe... but I'm pretty sure I have only been to two meetings thus far... cuz I missed one. it probably seems longer cuz I have been to so many events and seen you all a lot.
