I - Events
-Celebration III (Star Wars official con) Indianapolis, IN, Thurs - Sunday, April 21-25 2005 -- The con has been officially announced. Hotel booking has not begun. We are waiting for an announcement from Celebration's web site. DB516 is awaiting confirmation that a group rate for Fan Force is booked.
Also it was noted that the Star Wars fanclub membership (Star Wars Insider magazine subscription) may offer exclusive admission to certain events at CIII. So it is a good idea to be signed up as a member this year.

- DragonCon (Scifi Con) Atlanta GA 9/3-6/2004 -- Discussed travel and transport of equiptment for AeroSith to perform at the con.

- Trilogy DVD release day September 21, 2004. Mepa (NYC fan Force group) and members of other FF groups are still trying to organize a fan gathering in celebration of the DVD release of the Original Trilogy. Possible locations include Union Square Barnes & Noble book store, Toys R' Us, Virgin Megastore, or Tower Records. AeroSith has been invited to perform but all members arent available for that time period. StarFromIHJ has been in contact with the organizers and will post on the boards any new info.

- Hollywood Video Star Wars Day Friday September 24, Plainview, Long Island. ( 6 - 9 PM )DB516 will costume up to celebrate the DVD release and meet with kids and Star Wars fans at the video store. Our friends from neighboring Fan Force clubs are all invited to come in costume or in plain clothes. Either way it will be a fun get together. Event Coordinator KenDeep is organizing this event but wasnt at this meeting to report on its progress.

- Docking Bay 516 2nd Year Anniversary trip to Montauk Lighthouse via Long Island Railroad Sunday 10/3/04 time TBD -- DB516 will meet at the Merrick Long Island LIRR station (plenty of free parking there) and take a group trip to the Montauk Lighthouse for a picnic. In the event of bad weather, contact will be made on the message boards that morning or by cellphones. Raindate 10/10/04.

-- MEPA (NYC FF club) has invited us to 3 other events: Halloween 10/31/04 Tarrytown NY at The Sleepy Hollow parade. Also 10/30/04 A Childrens meet and Greet at Manhattan Church in costume. Also possible Star Wars panels or events at the Hudson vallet Expo 9/25-26/2004
