Tucson AUGUST MEETING post poned

Hey guys lets wait on this one until we can find out about the minis release and when Cat will be back in town.

 

Do we have an official date for the minis release?

 

August 19th. It's a tuesday, so we can have the meeting that weekend. Also, I will be moved in by then, so since 3/4 members of the FF now live in the same apartment complex, I can offer my place up for stuff.

I'm not sure, but I heard that H&V isn't going to have any extra packs/cases on Tuesday. They might have some later in the week, though. We might be able to work something out with Nemesis. Do you want me to look into it or can you?

 

Better you I am slammed at work this week.

 

OK I will go ahead and see if I can get a case +1 pack like last time. Let's just assume it works out and I get it, and schedule the meeting/tournament!

I got 13 packs from H&V. The first 12 got 10% off, like last time, so everyone participating in the tournament owes me $30. Hopefully we get 6 people to be in it like last time, so I don't have to pay for packs I wasn't planning on.

I am waiting to hear from someone as to whether or not I can borrow a table for my apartment, but if I can, I suppose we can hold the tournament here at my place, as everyone but Chris lives either in the complex or only a couple of miles from it.

One more thing: can I PULEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZ open my 2 packs?!?!?! I SWEAR I won't mix them up!!!

 

Umm, I live about 9 miles away, not exactly close, though closer than Chris. So when exactly is the Meeting? Date, time and place would be nice.

Got a hold of Lauren, and she said that they can't come because they are going on some trip or something. So we now have 4 extra packs. I'll bring them to the tournament and we can figure it out there. If you want them, they're $15 each.

 

I will be supplying drinks. Pepsi, diet Pepsi and Sierra mist cause theyre on sale at Safeway!

I will also have some chips.


If anyone would like to bring something sweet that would be SWEET!

Book club - will schedule once we know what date the Food Drive will be on. We also need to select a book

Food Drive - waiting to hear on the date.

Tidbits: Rebel Legion is now in AZ. The Walmarts on Valencia and Cortaro still have fabrics.

RPG: Gamemaster wants to have but not Star War based. Nothing scheduled.

Minis: Tournament held on meeting day. They got the new packs - Knights of the Old Republic.

MSWalk in Phoenix - Nov. 1. Meet at 530am up there.

Halloween Party Oct. 18th at Chris' house. Costume required. Starting at 8pm until unknown.

I'd like to attend a meeting sometime, but is there an Age Limit? Also my name is Ryan, but I liked to be called Colin. (Get into story later if anyone intrested)

About age, while there is no limit per se, I believe you do have to be 13 to be in it. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
