Howdy folks! I offered DJ setup for MOS ALBA, but need to know a good time to do so. I can be there early early Sat morning, even though I am not a morning person, most likely will stay up all night practicing (Time enough for rest in the grave.). I hear that Cyndi is showing the fan films. I can offer an Lcd projector (RCA cables too) to show the films providing there is a darkened place. If that is to be then I can use my sound system (bass and surround sound)to broadcast good quality sound but will not be able to dj while Fan Films are going on. But I can cut loose afterwards and Mos Alba WILL be heard from the lowest Sarlacc pit to the Bright center of the Universe!
What say you?

 

um, I think there is already a set up the con put together for the fan films and its a room being used for other activities so I don't think you can set up in there for DJing... Bob?

btw, when are the fan films being shown? Doesn't look like I am gonna make it until Saunday morning

 

Yeah, Rebo, you don't need to set up anything for the Fan Films. The Con organizers have that all set up in their Media Room. They typically show sci-fi films throughout the weekend, and we're just scheduling a block of time to show Star Wars Fan Films. Oh yeah, and...

I asked if she'd mind showing it off and she said she'll do it.

The Fan Films will be shown Saturday in the media room from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. I'm bummed that I'll be missing out on this, but I wanted to thank Cyndi for stepping up to the plate for me.


And about setting up to spin tunes. I'm not sure if we'll be able to set you up in the dealer room, but I still think you oughta ask Jess or Joe if they want to set up in one of their rooms...

Hey, I've been meaning to post to say it was great meeting you all! It was fun! I do feel a little lacking in the costume area though. But no fear! I shall make my robes as soon as I can afford good fabric. Then I can mosey on over to events in full garb. Yay! hehe Anyways, peace out and I'll try to make it to Bubonicon if I can get a break this weekend from work stuff.
