Hou, TX August meeting

Back to what seems to work the best for us in the end. Stags Head. ANY DATES LOOK GOOD TO ANYONE?

 

I'll be out of town on the 22nd... how does the 29th look for everyone? I assume Stag's Head unless something else is proposed.

 

I am good with the 22nd or 29th. Brian told me he liked 22nd, but I am sure he will do 29th too.

I won't be able to make the 22nd (Astros game) or the 29th (I have a gig that night).

 

Looks like I won't be able to make it this month either, but put me down for maybe spring next year. Sure wish I was back home already, miss hanging out with the "Star Wars gang" as my wife calls it. Can't wait to meet up again and find a reason to put on the armor. Save me a spot until then, and drink a cold beverage for a sweaty troop like me!

I'll give everyone a few more days to speak up, but at this point it loosk like the 29th will be the best date this month.

In the suggestions thread, Zakk mentioned Two Rows (http://www.tworows.com/) in the Rice Village Arcade. From the website, it looks like it might be a good place for us to meet. I'm willing to give it a shot for this month.

So what do y'all think?

Hey people, meeting tomorrow night! The notice has been posted on theforce.net and fanforce.net pages for a few days now.

Does anyone who is planning on coming have a Blu-Ray player? (I'm pretty sure you'll be glad if you tell me yes.)

Ian, do you still have any of the extra copies of Revisited that I gave you a while back?

 

I am buying a bluray player nextweek. How glad will we be? See you Saturday at Stag's.

What have I been up to? Ummm...just spending too much time on originaltrilogy.com, as usual.

And on a totally unrelated note, I just remembered I need to burn some freebies for tomorrow night.

 

i have a ps3 that will play bluerays. Note, HD DVDs are different though. Are they HD or Blueray? oh i will be coming to the meeting tonight. If i need to bring it let me know.

What I'm talking about is called AVCHD, and PS3s and most Blu-Ray players can play them.
