Welcome all to the August New Stories Index for the Before the Saga Board:

This Index will be updated daily with new fan fiction stories from this board, and at the end of the month all of these stories will be combined to make a master list, along with fics from both the Beyond the Saga and The Saga Boards.

I will be maintaining this Index to the best of my abilities. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a Private Message. While I will be locating new stories everyday, you?re welcome to send me (mouse2) the information for your fic via PM. Please! *hint hint* Challenge responses will usually not be indexed as they are indexed on the Resource board, but if you PM the information to me I will add it.

Title: Qui-Gon's Hair-raising Adventure.

Summary: Qui-Gon takes on his first apprentice and discovers that he
has more than he bargained for. Their relationship becomes strained
when her shedding causes their quarters to flood...causing Qui-Gon to
need a plumber.

Authors note: A response to the First Padawan challenge from the Qui-Gon appreciation
thread. I don't own any of these characters (except for Yorrie, however...she's based
on a species that George owns...so I don't really own her.) I give my thanks to George
for building a sandbox that?s so much fun to play in.

Summary: Sick and tired of Mace Windu's Temple pranks, Dooku enlists the help of his former Padawan(Qui-Gon, the librarian (Jocasta Nu) and some young Jedi Padawans (Obi-Wan and Siri) to help him prank the so called "Master of Pranks." Unfortunately their prank does not go exactly as planned.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of this. I just like to play with my shovel in the wonderful Lucas sandbox. And this fic is in no way meant to offend anyone who happens to be bald (either by nature or choice) If it does offend, please accecpt my apologies in advance. (I myself have been bald recently due to chemotherapy.)

Title: Bittersweet Revenge

Summary: The bomb that Xanatos planted in the Jedi Temple's Room of a Thousand Fountains successfully hit it's target and everything changed for the worst.
Notes: I just had to try this. Although, I warn you, I don?t know much about Obi-Wan before TPM and nothing about Xanatos, well, I read a little before I wrote this. Oh, and this is very, very short.
The Challenge you are responding to: The ?evil Obi? challenge, I hope that he is evil enough.

Summary: Prequel to Book I Tears of the Force. Obi-Wan's missing five years and Qui's dealing with his missing padawan, mix of 3rd party and 1st party (Obi-Wan) POV. Readers of Book I & II know that in Book I Qui-Gon is reunited with his lost padawan, gone for 5 years and thought dead, after a successful mind wipe.
Notes: This is LOOSELY based on a reference in JA #3 and the timeline is different, assume Obi-Wan is late teens when he disappears, he is not 13 as in JA.
Second note: This deals with slavery. It will not be graphic, but it will not be pretty.
