Hello -- I am working on a fan film and I am using a fan-made font to do the Aurebesh numbers.

The numbering system seems a little odd to me and I was wondering if anyone through any EU source, collector's item, whatever, could tell me if this is the way the numbers are supposed to go, if the font has it right:

1: Two dots side by side.
2: Two dots side by side, a third dot underneath and to the right.
3: An L-shaped collection of dots.
    4: A bar and a dot.
5: A bar and two dots.
6: A bar and three dots.
    7: A long bar and a dot.
8: A long bar and two dots.
    9. A long bar and three dots, looks a bit like the letter E.

    Zero: One single, solitary dot.

    THANKS!

Yes. The font uses the same number system established by the SW Monopoly Game, and that is the canonical Aurabesh number system.

Heh, y'know, I thought about consulting the Monopoly game--'cause it'd have the numbers on the money--but I don't have it out here.

I still find it a little odd that a 0 would have a dot, that 1 would have 2, 2 would have 3, etc. ... anyone got a piece of SW Monopoly money around that shows that the font is correct?

Staring at my SW Monopoly money...

    What?

It has numbers on it. Aurebesh script, but regular Earth numbers.

Crap! I know, it seems that within the movies they only use Earth-numbers.

I oughta just e-mail the font-maker and ask if he made the numbering up.

EDIT: But still, of course, if anyone has anything to contribute to this, please respond.

You can download the font. Check TF.N's Multimedia archives.

So I e-mailed the font creator and he says he just used the same numbering system as some other guy's fan-made font.

Unless anyone can shed some light on this issue, I'm just gonna use regular Arabic numerals... at least we've SEEN those on screen in SW somewhere.
