Authors alternative universe???

Do you think at one point someone would write a group of novels (I know they sort of have done that in the comics) that starts up again after return and takes Luke and company on a different direction.

Sort of like the Ultimate series by marvel?

as interesting as it might be, I would rather that did not happen. there are already enough canon debates and whatnot between purists and EU fans. such an action would only make the problem grow exponentially.

 

Just read AU fanfics, many of them are better than the books anyway.

I'd read them but the Infinites universe doesn't really appeal to me. I'd rather have canon stories.
