I've always liked Benedict Wong but now I'm a true fan. The guy shows up at the biggest movie premiere of the year rockin' shorts and the Hawaiian print/sport coat combo, complete with pocket square.

 

That’s how I imagine @tom would rock the red carpet.

 

Does Tony Stark still have that glowy thing lodged in his chest? Because at the end of Iron Man 3 he didn't need it anymore. I care about continuity.

 

I completely spaced on Stark no longer needing a baby arc reactor in his chest, but then I've only seen IM3 once so...

Not surprised, but I've blown off the hype and am just trusting cast and crew to do something fun. At least I do not have to wait until Saturday though. Managed to get tix for Friday night.

 

So I'm guessing that means he survives?

Which leads credence to the possibility that the clip of Steve blocking Thano's left hook was a heroic last stand and Bucky will be the new Captain America going forward.

 

It's not really a spoiler to say that Sebastian will survive because his contract is for 9 movies. However, one of the Cap/IW writers is on record as they do not want to put Bucky into the Captain America role because that would waste the WS character. As much as I loved Brubaker's run on Cap and particularly what he did with Bucky, I was less than thrilled when he thrust Bucky into Cap's role (except the arc where Buck winds up on trial and in a gulag for his crimes as the WS).

Metacritic has IW at 68, 20 pts below Black Panther, which is consistent with the inflated RT scores that gave IW 86% vs. Black Panther's 96%.
