For 6 seasons, Red Dwarf was the greatest sci-fi comedy ever (yes, Homeboy's from Outer Space, I went there!). It sputtered after that, when one of the creators left the show. But! This does not take away from the excellence that came before.

I think my favourite episode is Marooned. It was basically all dialogue between Rimmer and Lister, totally relied on the actors' performances. Also, Craig ate dog food. Now that is sacrifice.

So, Everton, Malkie et al...what say you?

Edit: I should scan down thread titles more carefully!

    Red Dwarf was awesome.
I remember watching the episode "Back to reality" and my blood running cold at the thought of the whole thing being a game.
    The "Polymorph" episode was hilarious.

Also I agree, after series 6 it started to go downhill badly.
The only highlight for me in season 7 was the "Rimmer Experience" song.

I am still waiting to hear news of the movie also.
But I am not getting my hopes up about it being a good movie.
I hope it will be but I have my doubts.
