I was wondering if anyone would like to play the board game with me sometime. It is a World War II based strategy game.

I'd love to. I'd have to review the rules. I know its a complex game, but I remember it being a lot of fun.

I am tentatively planning a game for 1:30pm this Sunday (28) at Josh's house (pending interest in others wanting to play). Up to five people can play. It is a great strategy game and alot of fun. Let me know if you can play.

Had an incredible Axis and Allies tournament with Ron, Marcus, Eric and Tim. It was an eight hour game with lots of twists and turns. I look forward to playing again in the future.

Also, with four voting members in attendance, we voted to dispurse some club funds for pizza. Our club now has approximately $144.

I've been lookin into Axis and Allies a bit on my own and I've got some questions for everybody

I saw on the Wizards of the Coast website that they have a MiniFigure Axis and Allies game but what we played seamed more like a pre-packaged board game much like any board game...

So anybody know anything bout the minifigure game beyond what the website mentions?

    Tim,

There is a seperate game made by Wizards called "Axis and Allies", it plays alot like the SW minis game. You buy boosters that contain things like aircraft and tanks and play on a map.

What you played with us is the board game "Axis and Allies".

If Kasey can play, then at his house, but that is up to him. If not, I need to work on that. The game would pretty much have to be on a Sunday we need about eight hours to play it.

I'll have to play that by ear. So I can't commit to anything yet.

As long as its on a weekend it sounds great

I also saw on the Wizards website 4 preset board games like what we played
board games done by Avalon Hill

I've been looking at the demos for each of 'em and they look like more detailed versions of what we played.
Basically lookin on an opinion from all of you on these other versions.

    Axis and Allies
    Axis and Allies: Europe
    Axis and Allies: D-Day
    Axis and Allies: Pacific
