yes I liek the colours here much more interesting than ours. And the banners are better also

 

I think you'll find most Aussies aren't that proud of being Aussies... I'd rather live in the UK anyday...

 

Don't feel too bad about being brits. So you invent sports and get beaten in them. I think that's better than certain other counties who avoid that problem by inventing sports no-one else wants to play. Besides, you've got the world's best comedy and your women have the world's sexiest accents IMHO.

 

I'm proud to say I'm english, although some english football fans seem to make me not so proud at times!

lol, unfortunately my accent is a mix between british and Aussie, being raised by british parents who moved to Australia

 

Jawa, I think that's the story with most of us... I'm the same at least

 

I am sort of the same...... I seem to have a fairly stable aussie accent, until I get together with anyone Scottish or Irish, which is what my family predominantly are, and as I was the first one from my family to be born over here, I was brought up hearing those accents. I seem to "slip into" those accents a little easily.

What gets worse is when I watch Trainspotting a little too often, I pick up the accent FA even notices it

 

Yeah, and it's damn sexy...

 

I don't like accents, I have trouble understanding people at the best of times. To easily confused!

 

aww I don't actually like my accent much it's very confused. I am from London so mainly a common London accent but as I like in the north east of England my accent is slightly changed and used other words now. And when I get with my family in Scotland well, just goes funky sometimes as if I am with people long enough I speak like them. i.e. go on holiday to the states for 2 weeks I come back speaking American god help me when I come over next year and stay for at least a month in Australia
