As many of you may not know, but this emergency server situation is one pain in the arss for Azeem ... to the point where he's no doubt suffering from severe BURN OUT.

    And who could blame him?

So I would like to create this thread to not only share w/ Azeem how much we appreciate him busting his hump to keep the fan film servers running, but to also call for him to TAKE A VACATION.

That's right. Azeem, you need a break. So give the reigns to Daft, or Max, or anyone else, take your lovely wife and go camping or something. Stay away for at least a week ... a month would be even better.

And when you return, you're batteries will be charged and you'll have a fresh perspective on this nightmare.

So thanks for all your hard work, Azeem. Now get out of here. I don't want to hear or see you for at least a week.

    With concern.

    Semaj

ps - can I get an "amen?"

Thanks Azeem for everything you've done for me this last year. I appreciate it!

    Later- Jeremy

    I could agree with that.

Running a site like this takes a LOT of effort and time. It's nice to see someone outwardly voicing appreciation.

Jeff, you truly do deserve a break, just get away from society all together. Who knows, maybe when you come back the server will be fixed... maybe. :)

hehehhe - no offense taken. :D

    Okay ... back on topic . . . . . . . . .

I know, from working on my own website project, that creating a quality website, let alone maintaining it, is not an easy job. It's LOADS of fun, definitely, but it does require a great deal of time and attention. Nevertheless, it is, more times than not, a labour of love for those who put such resources out on the web for others to enjoy and experience. (At least I know that's what is is (and will be) for myself and my team). :D

My hat is certainly off to Azeem and the rest of his team for the attention they give to maintaining this portion of TFN on a daily basis. I mean, let's face it . . . trying to keep ME in line is a full-time job in-and-of-itself. ;)

EXCELLENT work has been done here, and I am sure it will CONTINUE to be for many moons to come.

    THANKS AZEEM and Team. :D

Oh you say that, but you should see the work Azeem does behind the scenes. We'd all fold like cheap suits if 'Da Boss' wasn't around.

    ::Azeem cracks whip::

AZ:Why didn't you post that as a News Article Nutley!!!

    FX: Whip-crack.

DM: Sir, Yes Sir!, Sorry Sir, the dog ate my last post Sir

    FX: More Whip-cracking.

AZ: (Voice raised three octaves) You lying fool Nutley - do it NOW!

    :)

P.S. I told him I was amazed at how much work he did behind the scenes once. He called me a brown-nose suck-up! :p

Well I have visited Azeem real life at his home and had the pleasure, or is it misfortune to see the behind the scenes of TFN Fan Films and the literaly thousands of emails he was digging through, all the posts he was reading, (Yes he does read all the posts even if he doesnt post in them) and the extra stuff he has to do coordinating between the main TFN site and this small section of it.

So my hat is off to him as well, hes quite the man and does a great job =P

Azeem is the man. I ran a fan films Web site once. It was a pain in the butt. And we nearly never had any submissions or mail or traffic. So TFN FanFilms must be quite the time consumer.

    Yay Azeem!

    Good job Azeem!

Take a well deserved vacation for at least a week...a year would be better! After all the work you have gone through to please all of us fans and the movies we watch, you need a break.
