Calgary Backpacking with Luke Thread.

Shawn Are you trooping in the morning with the 501st. Also will you be coming to fame for food. I'm going to see if Colin is trooping in the AM as well as he has some pouches for me. If he's going I might get you to pick them up for me.

 

I will be trooping in the morning, and I'll be at Fame For Food as well, so I'll be sure to get the pouches for you. I'm working in between the 2 events.

 

Luke was featured very prominantly in our "Fame for Food" spot - he even got his own close-up! They said they'd need about a week before they got them all edited and posted to their web site, so once that happens, everyone will be able to see Luke on television.

 

Luke was at COP today as well. Ryan spotted me after lunch, and I rode with him and his son for a while. We got a couple of shots of Luke there.

 

Prelude - have we been sending you the photos? I haven't had my camera (except for the bellydance video) but there were some good ones from Saber Class, belly dance and ladies' night that I saw being taken.

 

I have got a bunch from echosevin from belly dancing and around town and saber class. Nothing from ladies night though. I'll have them posted soon. Been to busy the last few days to even get in front of my computer.

I have to say we did some awesome stuff with Luke. We got him on TV. We set the bar high. I can't wait to see what the other groups do.

EDIT: That is to say... at the end of the "More of Calgary" blog post, there is what is supposed to be a link to the Calgary Fan Force gallery. That link is broken - it takes you to "http://www.myspace.com/www.calgaryfanforce.com" which, of course, is not a proper link. If you could fix it, Ryan, and link directly to the Luke in Calgary gallery, that would be best.

 

Links are fine.. I just tried IE and firefox with a clear cache and they pop up. Might have to refresh.

 

I've tried it from work and I've tried it from my laptop at home, in IE and in Firefox.

At the very end, the sentence that says, "All of my pictures of my adventures in Calgary Can be viewed at the Calgary Fan Force's Web site in the gallery section here." and the "here" link is broken.

I don't know why it's working for you and nobody else. Did you log out of Luke's myspace account before clicking on the link?

It looks great. One of my geekiest moments. It's a good thing the "Backpacking with Luke" project is so darn awesome. It totally counteracts the fact that I went on a television commercial and pretended that an action figure was alive.

Did Luke get lost? His blog has not been updated by the new group. Where did it go? Did they get him?

 

Yes they got him. Not to sure what they did with him. He was supossed to be sent off to be at tha Rose Parade but not sure if they got him out in time. Hopefully they update soon. The guy I sent him to has not logged in since Dec 22.
