DFW, TX Bad news about the August show....

Ben just posted on his forums that Carrie Fisher will unfortunately not be able to attend the August show.

As he's in San Diego right now, he won't be making the announcement on his main webpage until Monday, but it looks like it's official.

However, he said there's a very good chance she will be at the October show, which will be really cool. The October shows always seem to be the best ones of the year. Plus, it's cooler, so it's a better environment for costumes.

 

YES! sorry but i'm kinda relieved about that... i don't think that work is gonna give me the day off, i haven't worked there 90 days so i can't request days off yet... carrie fisher not coming means that i won't be so tempted to call in sick and have my mum angry at me for weeks...knowing her she'd probably threaten to take my car away if i called in sick to go to the con.

 

You can run, Carrie, but you cannot hide. You won't be able to avoid me forever! I will have my custom Slave Leia figure signed sooner or later!!
