Bad news for Fact File fans in the UK

I was just told today that i won't be recieving them for a while because there was a fire at the publishers and they are all now a pile of ash.

I don't know if this just effects my area and if so, how big that area is, but it means that i now have to wait ages while they re-print.

 

One of the more weird reasons for delay...

Seriously though, i think it was just a warehouse, not likely to be many ppl in there.

I want my fact files

 

This is not good news...

 

Tomorrow I'm going to ask my newsagent (who gets them for me) if he can find out anything
further on this. If he does I will let you all know.

Fact Files are avaliable in lots of countries, including our commenwealth neighbours Australia.

Not in our un-commenwealth neighbours, the US however.

 

Yeah, I know that, but how would the burning of the UK wareyhouse affect Australians? Unless they get their Fact Files from us? But I don't think that is likely.

 

Wll, if lets find out how far the effect goes, the next time you get a fact file, post it here and we'll see.

 

Issue 54 - the one with a picture of a handmaiden on the front - is on shelves all over Ireland. I guess the stock that makes its way over here is still fine.

 

I got #54 here in the UK today at the newsagents.

 

I received issues 55-58 by post on Wednesday.
