    well in face of the original post. Its cool and interesting but it would only be ironic if bail ordered R2's memory erased instead and then found himself requiring the knowledge he'd deleted. To save R2 even !

    Which makes me think about something. How does one understand R2? Is it a language of beeps and whistles that you can learn? Is it easy?

    I ask because if R2 could talk normally, like C3PO, would Bail consider that a high enough risk to erase R2's memory as well?
