It's very usual. Lots of people/workplaces do this kind of thing.

Heya Marcus, what happened was, the flash apparently didn't go off, and it was very dark....now using photoshop I was able to brighten it up a little, but it looked weird in colour almost sepia tone, and honestly it made us look like an Amish couple [face_laugh], so when I converted it to greyscale it kinda looked like an image from an old black and white magazine, so I kept it that way ;)

Beezel - you've got to understand what the real Christmas is like here. We're continously bombarded with "Winter Christmas" images, cutesy winter scenes, snowflakes, roasting chestnuts on the fire, when the reality is that its likely to be 40C and the only things roasting are all the bodies lying on the beach.

So having a Christmas in July is a bit of an attempt to see what all that's like. And for an excuse for SAFF to get dressed up and have some fun - not that we need an excuse anyway :D

It was my first Xmas in July, but my parents have attended several. They went to one the weekend before ours. Thats how I knew what was involved. Its just an excuse to get together and have some fun.....and any excuse in my book is a good one. ;)

Wow what wonderful photos! I wish I could have been there! I was there in spirit though :)

Here in Canada I've heard of Christmas in July parties before but I've never attended one. They certainly look like fun! Perhaps something for me to organize on this side of the world for my FF next year!

    *Runs off to start planning*

    Again brilliant photos! =D=
