FF:NZ Bandanana! do do do do do....

last weekend four of us went trooping in aid of Canteens bandanna week on the streets of Christchurch. it was out first mid city troop here and it was a real eye opener for people, definitely turned some heads and managed to raise alot of positive publicity for Canteen.

Eveybody loved it except for one guy. a pisshead on a bike with broken leg (crutch in one hand can of beer in the other) started mocking us from afar, until at one stage he decided to ride his bike into me while i was walking down colombo st. I continued along trying to ignore him and then he saw vader who he obviously took a liking to and had a few swings with his crutch, one of them hitting vader square on the top of his helmet. My mate Nick (who was dressed as a tusken raider) decided to put an end to his stupidity and gave him a fat lip, then sat on him until the cops arrived.

It really did make for spectacular viewing, a tusken raider sitting on a drunk guy with darth vader and a trooper standing by right in the middle of town. a friend of nicks took a photo from upstairs in a restaurant. th guy was charged on five counts including assault and resisting arrest.

I seriously cannot believe it took me to tell you to post this. It's the funniest and most brilliant thing to happen in this froum in yonks.

Drunk guy abuses SW geeks, who turn on him and give him a hiding and then the cops arrest the drunk cripple.

I owe the tusken a beer! I love it. Well done chaps!
