Tucson "Banner and Icon making thread"...

Their all very good but for some reason the Boba Fett/Darth Vader one doesn't have a deserty feel to it.But I still like them
Try and add Imperial shuttles in the background with sandtroopers riding Dewbacks That would be awesome!

 

What does everyone else think about the different banners??? ?

I'm going to try to attempt some sort of banner ... but it might be a few days.

 

I like the 1st one...and the 2nd one...but I don't like the 3rd one

AoErat, it'd be great if you could get a banner done. I look forward to seeing it.

Everyone, I'm making the deadline for the banners/icons submissions, September 27th. That way I could probably bring a laptop to meeting #3 and we could vote for which banner/icon we like best at the meeting.

However if we don't get some more icon/banner submissions from anyone other than me, I may extend the deadline. I don't want my graphics to be the only ones to choose from. I figured that this would give everyone the incentive (including myself) to get some graphics done.

 

I worked on mine a bit last night .. got the basic theme in mind, matched some colors, etc.

It'll probably be a few more days though.

 

Cool, just get it done by the meeting.

However, I never quite understood what the icon would be used for. Can you clue me in there?

It'll be used for the boards. Like how you and I are using Stormtroopers and Lucky_Charms is using Slave Leia, the TFF icon can be used in place of those to show that we're with the TFF.

Semi-off topic ... if you want Boba Fett pics, I have a Reference CD with a couple hundred megs of photos exclusively of Boba Fett - the costume, stills from the movie, etc.

Also. I'm making good progress on my banner. Should be done soon.

Does anyone know how much leeway we have regarding colors? Can we change the background color, for example from white to black?

What about link colors, table bg colors, etc?

I'm pretty sure that we can change any/all of the colors. Check out the New York Board, they changed everything.

 

You can make your banner any colors you want, make it green and orange for all I care. If you need the complete color listing for the JC boards you can find them here
