Banner Contest?

do we need a banner? i have people working on some and they will send them to me when i get them do we want to judge them or have a contest?

Darth Wenly is one person i ask. to make a banner .

 

We certainly need a banner. And that would be cool to have a contest. Do you think we need to wait untill we come up with a formal name or just add it on the banner later.

 

yeah we need to think of a name but i have just go them showing me ideas of what they will look like we definately need a name for ourselves. hmmmm

What kind of Images would you like to have in the banner? Is there anything in particular Monroe is famous for that I might be able to include?

 

Put some gungans and some other aquatic creatures and some Jedi but we dont have a official name yet so just call it Fanforce Monroe La hehe when we pick our name we will try to get them updated thanx

 

Well, we're in Louisiana so swampy is a major theme, but fanforce acadiana is already utilizing that theme. The Ouachita River ,(pronounced wa-shi-taa) an American Indian name, splits the two cities Monroe & West Monroe. Therefore we have the nickname twin cities. So I thought the Twin Suns would be a good theme. What do you think?

 

Yeah its cool i like the twin suns or what about the Fan Force Poisonous since we have so many poisonnous snakes and spiders lol sounds funny but i dunno i like the twin suns too.

 

I've fooled around with two concepts:

Banner One
Banner Two

Let me know which one you would like me to continue working on.

 

Banner 2 looks great, but banner 1 is'nt coming up I'm getting a (file not found error).

I think the Gungans banner really fits us. But I think it'd be better to stick with the two suns theme.

I'm not very happy with the colour schemes... that isn't my strong point.

 

The Gungan theme looks great! On the Twin Suns theme could you make the background more of an orangeish or brownish color?

 

I think both look great! Your RSA is right, you guys are up to speed and ready to ge hings goin'. If you would like to borrow our Banner Designer he is a grea guy, if you need help with that Color Sceme I am sure he can help.

 

OK, I may design cars, but I couldn't draw a banner.

 

I like Darth Wenley's bannners, but if it's going to ba a banner contest, I suggest you find others to pitch in. GayLen-Kenobi created the banner and color scheme for the Choose a Board page and SWC. I found him in one of my threads and just sent him a PM.

 

I know quite a few people we can have make banners whenever we become official

 

Ya know...since we chose Twin Sun City for our chapter name (at least that is what I was told)and it is so hot down here...why not use the twins suns of tatooine in the banner. I'm no artist or i'd try to make one.

I think that is what darth weenly is trying to do. scroll up a little to his post and click on his links. I agree though that the twin suns should be used.
