Amph Banner Open Call!

We're in need of some new banners, and since banner-makers aren't lining up for jobs, Raven and I thought we'd see if any of you have the knowledge and interest to create a few.




We can't guarantee that we'll put up every banner submitted, but we'll try. If you have any other ideas for new banners, let us know! Banner makers will get a week of colors for every banner that goes up. There aren't any deadlines for these.

First time poster here in SFFBC... hello, all! I've got a list of potential banners from Nat that I'm going to attempt before school starts back up, but I'm always willing to take requests. Just let me know how else I might be able to goof off in real life.

I wish I knew how to make a banner. I don't have the software nor enough tech requirements on my computer to even play games.

This is an awesome banner. way to go Trika once again. What will we do without you.

Honestly, I think this is probably the best I've done EVAR. Mark it down... might not happen again.

I'm still looking at doing more banners, just not immediately at this point. I started a Wheel of Time banner and got so frustrated I just dropped the whole thing and started over. LOL. I've also got a couple of banners to make elsewhere, and I'm just running out of time before school and real life strangles me.

In any case, thanks for the nod on the banner. I really enjoyed making this one and highly recommend R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt series to everyone.

Hey, not too shabby! This was probably the hardest banner to make out of all of my banners... lots of low-res images and whatnot. I actually tried it three times before I got this thing done.

Wow....That's an amazing book, but currently I'm reading The Dervish House, by Ian McDonald (Pyr)

 

Wow, is all this artwork from the Hero of Ages? I have the paperback and it only has Vin and Elend.

 

The pair just to the right of the SF&F logo is from Hero of Ages... but I'm pretty sure the pair to the right of them is from Elantris. Not the cover I have, but it looks like it belongs on the Elantris cover.

 

I believe we have, from left to right, Well of Ascension, Hero of Ages, Elantris, and Warbreaker. The Elantris cover is a different (and I believe not American) cover.

I can't remember exactly myself, but I think Nat has essentially the right idea, as she should as she's the one who provided me with the material! It should be noted that the pair directly to the right of 'SF&F' is in fact spliced together from two separate covers, although I think I saw them together in other artwork.

 

lol... Vin from Mistborn, with the guy on the Hero of Ages cover which has Vin next to him in that, too.

I'm guessing that's supposed to be Elend, but since I've barely started Well of Ascension, I don't know - for all I know, Elend could die in WoA
