V.C, CA Banner Pics and website?

Hey guys, I was planning on doing the banner this week or next--whenever I have time. Do you have any specific pictures you'd like me to include on it (please not just handmaiden pics)? If so please e-mail them to me at matt@missingwords.com.

Also, I'll try to get some sort of working web site up over my break from school so start thinking of what sort of things we want to have on the page and let me know.

P.S. Mara_Jade_Fan: Can we change the colors of our boards' layout or should I design the banner to look good with this current brown motif?

 

You can use any colors you like on your board.

Here are the banner dimensions:

Main banner image - 764 x 110
Main Background image - 764 x 110
Curve image - 69 x 69
Side Bar image - 32 x 465

That is great you are making a banner for your fanforce chapter. For a few examples you can check out the following banners:

San Diego Fanforce (that is me with the purple lightsaber

Orange County CA Fanforce

Phoenix Arizona FanForce

Sacramento Valley Rogue Force

There are many other good examples out there as well, just search through all the fanforce chapters.

One or two HM pics are cool, I just didn't wanna have a whole HM banner!

We can put pics of ourselves if you want. I'm open to just about anything!

 

Well, this is YOUR project. We really do need pics of everyone. We could always superimpose heads on bodies to get costumes. :~D

P.S. Were the NJO pictures you were looking for for the banner?

 

I haven't even begun. I lag. Actually I was kinda waiting to get a better idea of what we want on the page. Maybe we should figure that out at the meeting. And yeah, I think a picture would be a good addition... if we can get one with everyone in it.

And no, the NJO pics were for me, since I began reading the books I've just been really curious as to what some things look like.

OK, semi-related. If we're going to ask folks to come to our meetings, shouldn't we have some sort of contact email addy? With my username, I'm not sure I want to have folks be able to email me from just out in the general public. I get enough comments (from "the bear, right?" or adult-movie related comments) from the JC at large.

Should I open a yahoo account? With some sort of username like "venturacountyfan"?

That way, when we advertise, people have some way of reaching us all.
