Baseball season is just over a month away. I know we have a bunch of fans around here with all the North East teams.

    New York Yankees
    Boston Red Sox
    Baltimore Orioles
    New York Mets
    Philidelphia Phillies
    Pittsburgh Pirates

You might even be a fan of a team not in the North East US.

I know we can get a bit competitive about our teams. Lets keep this all in good fun.

Spring training is here!! All the players for the Red Sox are at Fort Myers as we speak. And Pedro arrived yesterday making the team complete. I can't wait for their game against the Rangers in March...cause I can watch it on NESN!! Wahoo!!

I'll be sure to behave myself too Mystery Sith! :D

So, who else is a baseball fan?

less than a month away now.

Anyone interested in joining a Fantasy League on Yahoo(Free). This is for serious players only, no one that will quit part way through the season.

I don't know Jedigrl, I'll be happy when the Indians' spring practice is over so our town will go back to normal.

My friend just got home from Fort Myers where she was lucky enough to see a spring training game. I'm jealous. But she did bring me a pennant back and a spring training magazine. So, I can't complain!

In only a week and two days I will be in Fenway Park watching the Red Sox play the Devil Rays! Wahoo! I can't believe the season came this quickly! :)

I can now say that I've seen two thirds of the Red Sox home games thus far this season!

Opening day at Fenway was awesome...especially when Manny hit his homerun on the first pitch of his first at bat at Fenway!

And today I had the great honor of seeing Pedro Martinez pitch in person! Sixteen strik outs! Wahoo!

    Ahhh....I LOVE BASEBALL!

Mysty...my brother has tickets to go to a game at Yankee Stadium next weekend for the Sox game. I wonder what day it is.

Yeah, just imagine the cow I had when I found out he had tickets and he didn't offer to get me any. Argh!

You should come to the meeting we have at Fenway...the Sox may not be your favorite team, but Fenway is an awesome park!

I would love to see a Game at Fenway. I have never been to a game outside of NY.

When details become clearer I will see what I can do.

Yup...still can't believe they want to build a new stadium. There is nothing wrong with Fenway. Its got so much character and its really a great deal of what makes going to a Sox game worthwhile.

Fenway is a bit small and they can make much much more money with a new stadium. Gonna need when its time to give Nomar his 20M

I do not like the Green Monster too much. ( I just remembered Mike Greenwell, I liked him)

You ever think that Fenway is cursed, kind of the the Curse of Babe Ruth.

Who knows, I am not Supersticous.

But I like the idea of leaving the Old Classic Stadiums, would be sad to see them go, only 3 old ones remain.

Yeah, maybe Nomar could afford some rynoplasty with 20 million.

Oops! Haven't checked this thread in a while!

Its hard to let go of Fenway though. I went to my first baseball game there and there's just something about walking up that ramp and seeing THAT feild. Its incredible I still can't get over it and I've been more times than I can count!

The Green Monster is AWESOME! I love homeruns that go over that thing. Great piece of history inside that scoreboard too!

And Bib, leave Nomie's nose alone! Its got character!
