There's nothing on that body which pushes air down and thus creates grip in the form of downforce. For 1200bhp, you need a wing or should just be like driving that Dodge with more torque than the wheels could bear.

I'll take your word for it, you being the resident car-nut and all. I hope any and all innovation for this game simply hasn't gone into that Bat-tank.

Damn it, I called the Tumbler the Tumblr.

    I'll escort myself out.

I will definitely laugh out loud if you fire everything you've got at one guy, get out of the Batmobile, turn on detective vision to find out he's a-okay at 30 beats per minute.

Though with how unhinged the events of Arkham City seemed to leave him, maybe he decides to break his biggest rule, dons a suit of armour and builds a tank, and decides to blow Arkham Knight the hell up. :p

Seeing as how we know Harley is both in the game, and pregnant, will that pop up at all? Hope so, but also... probably not?

They discarded that plot element, if I recall correctly.

Too bad, a Batman Beyond game would have been really fun.

Yes, the Harley's Revenge DLC turned that around. In fact, if you go to the same office area where you found the positive pregnancy test in the core game, this time around you'll find a bucket load of discarded pregnancy tests, all negative. Besides, Arkham Knight takes place a year later, so there's no reason to have a pregnant Harley there, if she ever was.

He's Iron-(Bat)Man! Funny how deftly he can move with such heavy hardware on him. :p

That Batmobile is a veritable ******* monster! The road can hardly contain it! But the shooting carnage. WTF Bats, those aren't rubber bullets! o_O

But the way he launches out of that thing.[face_hypnotized]

Yes, nitpicks aside, of course I want this bloody thing. 2015 seems so far away.

Looks good but I was actually more impressed by the gameplay trailer for AC Unity.

Considering how burned we've both been by the AC franchise, I'm amazed you'd give another of those a chance.

Oracle does explicitly tell him the tanks he fights are unmanned. Also, I was impressed with Unity as well.

    But MUH BATMAN

    It looks amazing.

Haha no worries. Kotaku posted a blurb about how they were super confused as to how the Batmobile was strafing - did they not see the way the car transformed and the wheels basically became gyroscopic?

Yeah, the Battank is now basically a M.A.S.K. vehicle. :p

Would post my response but you've all beat me to it!

Can see why this is now next-gen from the trailer.

The only way this could be more crazy is if the Batmobile transformed into a giant robot, but that's the wrong genre for this Batman. I was somewhat surprised at how fast Batman moved through the vents, not sure if that was just for the demo or if they've changed the stealth mechanics a bit. Then again, there's nothing stealthy about driving around in a tank in Gotham. The Batmobile looks awesome, wonder if we'll see if it has any non-lethal weapons later (one of the intro videos described one of the weapons as anti-foam, but these were just drone tanks, so no need to hold back).

Apparently Rocksteady has been really emphasizing speed and movement in their press stuff leading up to E3. Given how well Batman moves through environments now...yeah :p

The Batmobile animations look very fluid. Like it is an actual, heavily modded custom job cruising at 250 MPH through Gotham. It seems that as it turns corners little stabilizer wings akin to the Tumbler's rise and shift. So how do you think it'll actually handle, @Ender Sai?

I watched the gameplay video; it has a fair amount of grip but then again you would expect that. You can drift it, which for a vehicle that size and with those tyres would be impossible and/or stupid, but then again, so is drifting. So basically, it will handle like a car in Watch_Dogs and not the shopping trolleys of GTA IV or Just Cause 2.
