I don't know if I will get the Season Pass, but there are definitely things in there I'd like to buy individually.

 

Yeah, I'm all for additional skins for the Bat and his car. But I don't feel like paying so much for them. So if the price is right for individual purchases...

 

Just wait for a DLC sale on PSN and grab the Batman season pass then!

They confirmed the identity of Batgirl in the Arkham Knight DLC.

It's Barbara Gordon, which I assume would mean it takes place before the events of the Arkham Trilogy. Possibly taking elements from The Killing Joke?

 

Is the whole Killing Joke thing an dev teasing us or is it just somebody speculating?

 

Could be a way to bring back Hamill.

EDIT: Yeah, that's Mike Ehrmantraut taking a break from working with Walter White to be Jim Gordon!

 

Get the impression that the developers have thrown out some of the old VA's to make way for some more recognisable voices.......that's not necessarily bad thing the new scarecrow voice is ten times better than the Arkham Asylum version.

Kevin Conroy's Batman has definitely got better with age

 

Can't say the same about the man himself. Maybe it's just me, but he looks...a little unhealthy. The years haven't been kind.

 

Yeah, that's just you. He's pushing 60, he looks fine for his age.

 

Huh. For some reason I thought he was a bit younger. But I often forget that he's the one guy on the planet that has portrayed the Dark Knight across several media for over two decades. Which is all kinds of awesome.

 

He's pretty amazing as the voice of Batman, and dammit now I want to marathon BTAS for like the 60th time

Conroy will be 60 this year, and he's had quite the career. When he went to Julliard, he was in the same class/group as Kelsey Grammer and was roommates with Robin Williams; he was friendly with and nearly roomed with Christopher Reeve, of all people.

 

Agreed: as far as I'm concerned, the one guy that has defined the role of Batman for a generation - and perhaps many more - is Kevin Conroy, regardless of just being VO work. Any animated Batman or DCU movie without him is all the poorer our simply not quite right because of it.

 

Yeah, Conroy is always awesome as Batman. And Bruce Wayne too for that matter (I like it when they manage to get "normal" Bruce right too rather than just intense all the time Batman, which BTAS got right of course).

Though Batman's evil laugh was probably a highlight too. So haunting and crazy.

 

I remember that from "Mad Love", like Harley I was like "I never see you laugh before. I don't like" but i will admit the one thing that had me gasping at straws was Batman singing "Am I Blue"

 

Batman singing "Am I Blue" was one of the highlights of the JLU show. Nay, of the of the DCAU in general. Who knew the Dark Knight had such pipes?

 

Wonder if the batgirl dlc will be voiced by the same actress who voices Oracle?

Because it would make too much sense.

 

It'd be a younger Barbara so maybe a younger voice actor like with Arkham Origins

 

Y'know, in the promotional images for the DLC that looks way more like Cassie Cain in her Future's End outfit than Barbara Gordon.

 

Anyone seen the Batman Beyond outfit. While I admit it does looks phenomenally cool, it does look an awful lot like a re skinned Arkham Knight than Batman Beyond. I hope in game it ends up having a slightly different name like "Arkham Knight Batman Beyond"

 

So yesterday I was at a local Best Buy and saw a promotional display for AK. I think their pre-order exclusives are the Batman '66 skins for both Bats and his car. Eh, not a fan. Sadly, the car only seems to get red piping and old school logos, bit the model/mesh remains the same. Guess that confirms it's rather unlikely we'll get a Tumbler or '89 Batmobile unless some enterprising pc modders take a crack at it.
