I'm about 30% of the way through this after starting it a bit late. The Batmobile's inclusion feels a little forced at times but I'm still really enjoying it. The Arkham series was my favourite of last gen along with Mass Effect, so I'll probably pick up the remasters when they're released. I'd say Aslyum is still the best of the series.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll only pick this one up when a trilogy remaster/collection is eventually inevitably released.

I'm still waiting for the PC version of Knight, I haven't played it at all, not even in store. But from all the reviews i've read, apparently I can expect batmobile. Lots of it. WB did everything I expected with the vehicle use and combat.

So, I bought Arkham Asylum and Arkham City on Steam a while ago, and I finally got around to playing Asylum a few weeks ago. It's been quite a lot of fun, and I'm more or less done with the game now, minus a few challenges and DLC stuff. I was looking forward to getting to the sequel, but then I see how much disk space it takes up...19 freaking GB! Asylum was only 8 GB! Gonna have to finish a bunch of other games and then uninstall them...

I want to get those who set the camera, the batmobile controls, the bull-crap radar and crucify every single one of them.

I'm trying to take out an APC. The map directions are crap - I'm never allowed to get near the bastard, when I do? Either the camera will be crap or the Batmobile will hit a suddenly indestructible object and blam, he's gone. The image you get of the damn target ignores environment and depth so rendering it pointless crap.

With a decent camera and controls that mean you don't feel like the Batmobile is on goddamn ice the whole sodding time these missions could be as epic as the deluded developers think they are.

50% of this game? Contrived bullcrap. And let's not even mention the goddamn Riddler...

Minor bit of advice for when you're chasing APCs- try not to take out the escort vehicles, once they're gone, the APC accelerates and focuses on trying to outrun you. I know that can be difficult sometimes since you can't lock onto the APC with the jeeps in the way, and they kept trying to crash into the Batmobile (which ends up worse for them actually). Took me half the game to figure that out, not sure how fast other people would work out that strategy. And just wait until you try to catch Firefly, ugh, that's even worse as he flies so he's even harder to chase. Um, hope that's not a spoiler by now, the game's been out for over a month and that's a relatively minor sidequest.

I really, really wish the minimap actually showed streets. At least I don't think it does? And it gets even worse on later islands when there are multiple levels (above ground, underground, highways, etc.), and you have no idea what level they'll head in, and then lose and have to start all over.

This is little consolation, but if you can figure out their route, you can try calling the Batmobile and waiting around the corner then smashing into them and trying to pin the APC. They'll still get away, but at least you'll get more damage in more quickly.

Finished it today. Easily the weakest of the trilogy. It could have been good but the Batmobile and the, "Let's throw all sorts of enemies at you so you have trouble knowing which button to press every time" thing ruined it for me. It wasn't so prevalent in the last two.

I got 100% earlier in the week. I really enjoyed it but it is probably my least favourite of the three. The Batmobile was cool at times but they didn't need to force it in as much as they did. The story was still enjoyable and I liked the refinements to the stealth.

Next month's DLC includes a Nightwing Add on called GCPD Lockdown in which he has to stop penguin from escaping. Hopefully it will be more than what Red Hood/Harley Quinn offered

Been toying around with Arkham Knight. The Batmobile is annoying. The visuals along the skylines are great, but street-level Gotham is a gaudy, busy mess, imo. It just doesn't convey the feel or look of a habitable city, imo. I think every Assassin's Creed game since AC2 has done a better job of immersing the player in a believable city atmosphere, making the cities come alive.

To be perfectly honest, the absence of being immersed in Gotham City has been one of my main gripes with the Arkham series. Granted, Asylum and City were fantastic games that didn't need to create a believable city around you, but Origins and Knight are all together different. Origins was disappointing for numerous reasons, not the least of which was the fact that its Gotham City was populated only by criminals who were always eager to challenge the Batman. Seriously? Even the NPCs in Assassin's Creed show more emotions when they witness your character performing dynamic feats: some NPCs gasp in shock, others panic or flee, some throw insults your way, etc. But in the Akrham games, it's always the same ol, "Oh, I'll kill Batman! Come on!"

Even Knight, which comes up with the lazy excuse to evacuate the city and once again surround Batman in an unbelievably empty Gotham City, populated, as usual, by the ever-eager thugs ready to fight Batman.

And they somehow did a great job of evacuating a city roughly the size of New York, didn't they? No stragglers, no one left behind who refused to leave? No other NPC type apart from cops and thugs?

Why are the Arkham games so afraid of portraying a populated city? Heck, Spider-Man games have been doing it since I can remember.

The Arkham sandbox sure does seem like a huge, empty space.

So what does everyone think about the rumor saying the next game will be centered around Damian Wayne as Batman.

I've been done with this series. I only got Knight because it was on sale on Xbox Live for $10 with tons of dlc. So for that price, I'll occasionally tinker with the game, but am no way invested.

    City was my favorite.

Also, the Batman Begins game for the original Xbox had superior Batmobile segments.

I'm open minded. Especially if they focus on new areas of gameplay.

But I'd really like a Rocksteady Superman game. I hope rumors of that are true.

Don't care. Rocksteady have rendered themselves as anything but after the fiasco of Arkham Knight.
