Batman V -- Danny Elfman?

I've just been looking back a few pages, and I haven't seen that anyone has brought this up yet, but now that Batman V is well underway, does anyone know if Christopher Nolan has brought, or even considering bringing in any composers for this project?

When I think of Batman music, I always think of Danny Elfman straight away. The music on Batman Forever and Batman and Robin never really struck me as being great, but the scores on Batman and Batman Returns were brilliant to say the least.

Now, we all know that Chris Nolan's Batman V is turning into a "reinvention" of the Batman franchise, but how do you think the score will play into this? Batman and Batman Returns had dark, brooding scores, whereas the other two still had dark, but more upbeat qualities to them. Also, according to the rumours rife at this time in the production, the latest film is looking for an R-rating. I don't know if that will have any relevance here, but I'm guessing such a rating will probably mean that the film itself will either be overly violent, or darker than previous offerings. I know that Danny Elfman would make a brilliant score with this sort of material. He has done so in the past, but do you think he will be considered for this project?

Also, who do you think would make interesting scores for this film? Cliff Eidleman springs into my mind. I'm not sure about Jerry Goldsmith. His scores, while outstandingly brilliant, are a little too brash for this sort of work.

 

Looks like David Julyan is doing the score. I`ve never heard of him but hes done other Nolan scores

 

I love Elfman's score for the first Batman,
and I wouldn't mind seeing Nolan choosing to
reprise it, but I think they will go in a
different direction.
