Battle Droid WIP

    Heres my next model, felt it was about time to post it. im almost done, just need to add the legs, the arms, and a gun lol. i should also add a pack. If anyone sees anything im doing rong please point it out right away, it will be a big help. thanks

    That really doesn't look bad. Needs some texturing, but besides that it seems it's going along nicely.

    The imagesa re a little dark, but very good modeling there. You seem to be working on alot of models at the moment. How long did this take you?

    I believe he's using Animaion:Master--not an easy thing to do.

    yea sorry about the dark.. will light it up on my next update.

    yes i am working on a lot of models. once im done one gota move straight to another. what i have so far on this model took me all of the long weeked

    That's really not that bad for what you have.

    Remember, it took like a year until ILM got General Grievous to the way he was in the movie.

    I got the whole body done now. all i need now is the gun and pack.

    small.. really? i thought they were to big before so i made them smaller

    The only thing that will tell is a reference. Anybody making such a critique really should provide their reference showing where they get their critique from.

    Here it is! my completed battle droid. didnt take me as long as i thought it would

    I changed the background colour and added a stand for show

    That's amazing.

    Perhaps a less reflective texture (lower specular levels) would make it nearly perfect. You know, battle droids are more matte...

    And that's the only thing that I have to say... Your model is almost identical to the ILM ones... =D=

    So, IMPRESSIVE WORK ;)

    Great!The scale seems to be right, good details(not too much), needs some texturing now :).


    I dont think he has textured it, this seems more like a simple colour scheme for later texturing.
    Textured would be more dirt definitly, darker worn out pieces:

    i remember them being really shiney in ep 1. but ill fix that once i texture.. and im really looking forward to doing that

    P.S. this is made in Animation Master.... if i can export as something els id might relese it.
