Darth Maul vs. Aleema Keto

I vote for Darth Maul.

 

Maul was little more than a Dark Jedi; he seemed to possess none of the Sith powers characteristic of a true apprentice of the Order. Aleema Keto was an adept Sith sorceress and a combination of Sith magic and Force blasts should be able to down an opponent possessing no mastery but that of the lightsaber.

I'll say Keto wins, but barely.

Maul has shown that he can take on pretty much anyone and put up a fight, and most of the time overpower or beat them. He takes this.

Maul is absolutely one of the strongest dark siders in terms of dark side knowledge. For example, he killed a telepath with just his dark thoughts alone. He has survived from TPM just because of the dark side power.
Also his incredible high pain tolerance granted by the same power.

I'll vote for Maul. A shame about that last round though. It seems all my favorites always fall victim to the darn ties.

 

I know, I was disappointed. Ulic deserved the win there. Ah well.

I don't know whether the tale in which Vader fights Mauls is considered "canon" (I mean the old canon).
Even if it is canon, Vader did not fight the real Darth Maul, but some creation by some Dark Side Prophets.
Ultimately, Vader won in the end.

Well, Nihilus' attack works on anything that isn't a wound in the Force, so Nihilus obviously takes this one.

I'm curious as to see how everyone takes this into account when facing heavier hitters like Vitiate or Palpatine, though.

 

Nihilus will lose because he has all of one duel?

Seriously, we don't have any real evidence of him using his draining on a specific fighter other than the Exile. So we can't say that it will work on anyone else either, in a duel format.

In this case though, Kaan is even less impressive, so Nihilus wins.

It was clone of TPM Maul. He has the same memories of Maul, same style, same clothes, same sword, it was more like ''what would happen if Vader and Tpm Maul fights''...

Yeah Vader won, but hardly with heavy wounds. Plus the scenario suggests that, Vader couldn't die in that comic He has to survive until RotJ.

 

My vote goes to Darth Nihilus. Both had some seriously destructive force techniques (planet drain and thought bomb); however, Nihilus is able to use his planet drain without the need for a bunch of assistants and avoids killing himself while using it so he probably has the edge here.
