Games Battle of the Droids and Cyborgs

Welcome to the battle of the droids and cyborgs! The bounty hunters, Force users and blaster users have all had their time to fight, now a group of droids and cyborgs will go head to head and fight each other until one comes out victorious.

Every 24 hours, two randomly selected droids and cyborgs will be chosen to compete against each other, and it's up to you to decide the outcome by voting for who you think would win the battle.

The winner from each battle will move onto the next round, until only one droid or cyborg remains, who will be announced as the greatest droid and cyborg in the galaxy!

I'm having a little trouble coming up with 48 competitors for this competition, as there's so many different types of droids, and I don't know a lot of droids from certain eras. I'm just gonna name a whole lot here, and over the next few days I want everyone to add to the list and we can all decide who the 48 competitors will be.

Rounds

Round 1 will have 24 battles with 48 contestants.

Round 2 will have 12 battles with 24 contestants.

Round 3 will have 6 battles with 12 contestants.

Round 4 is the quarter finals and will have 4 battles with 8 contestants (2 contestants will return as wildcards).

Round 5 is the semi finals and will have 2 battles with 4 contestants.

Round 6 is the final battle.

 

I'm a little disappointed that Lumiya (yeah she's Force-sensitive which complicates things) or Guri aren't here too, but I look forward to voting.

 

Mmm, this looks quite fun.

 

It won't start until I have enough droids and cyborgs from other eras, so get your ideas in guys. I was considering Lumiya and I'll have a look at Guri.

 

No cyborg list is complete without D'harhan.

How does everyone feel about including SWTOR world bosses? They're SD-0, Battledroid R4-GL, Ulgo Seigebreaker and Rogue Cartel Warbot. They may be a bit too big and powerful.

 

I think world bosses should not be included, just due to their size and power. It would be the equivalent of including a rancor in a Battle of the Hand-to-Hand Fighters.

 

Not sure the starfighter droid classes should be included either, judging them against terrestrial based combatants would be difficult.

 

Or a Hailfire droid. Though to be fair, in a battle of D'harhan vs. Hailfire droid, my money's on D'harhan...

I say switch R4-P14 for T3-M4.

 

Iron Knights are technically cyborgs, considering they were basically just a body for Shards in the Jedi Order. An Octuptarra Droid would also be a bit over-powered against quite a few of the other competitors.

 

There's 85 possible competitors so far. I'll confirm 24 right now, and you guys can help me decide the other half.
