Gaming Star Wars: Battlefront (2015) & Battlefront 2 (2017) [Mod Approved]

It is a bit more challenging because the heroes get like 2 kills a minute but yes I've won loads of times as the villains. It helps that the villains have Darth Maul who is the best character in the game.

 

UGGGHHH I do not like 1st person shooters. Hopefully there is an option to play 3rd person. As long as that, the Prequel era, and the hero feature are retained, I'll probably get it eventually (not sure what system I'd get it for yet).

 

I hope there's at least 3 eras. Clone Wars, original trilogy-era GCW, and whatever the new movie takes place in. Plus a campaign that explores every movie's events.

 

That'd be great! They could easily make a long campaign with molding all of the trilogies together.

 

I dont want the disney, but ill take the Clone Wars-Rebellion eras in 3rd person hi def, if they want me to purchase.

 

I just want a Christophsis map.

Coruscant Senate Building!
Or a battle on a Capital Ship. The Invisible Hand, a Star Destroyer etc.

 

Geonosis for one. Other than that, a few planets in TCW. Like Umbara, Teth, Ryloth, and Orto Plutonia. That's what I can think of anyways.

So how do you think the campaign will go.

 

Probably a lot like BFII, but with a few kicks here and there. It may actually add a pretty interesting Storyline and cutscenes with characters, instead of short cutscenes showing a battle going on.

 

I wonder how they will tie the two eras together in the story maybe you play as a rebel clone.

 

Captain Rex fandom. Story: Rex actually disobey's Order 66 and makes his escape from the Jedi Temple.

I can't wait for 2015 then after that 2017 when the next next battlefront game comes out.

They want to make a good game, so a 3rd person shooter that includes the paper-thin proxies that stood in for characters is both commercially suicidal and creatively unsatisfying. 14 year olds will have to find something else sadly.

In fact, what I hope they do is never anything Clone Wars themed. Ever. Even as DLC.

 

It's an intequal part of the battlefront games it is going to happen.

 

Except the new creative teams realise that taking something that's the intellectual equivalent of hermetically sealing your own head in a plastic bag until you pass out and experience mild brain damage - the Prequels - is not something most Star Wars fans like. Hence the overwhelming attempt to distance themselves from it in all media. It was a vacuous, self-indulgent time-waster that drove fans away from Star Wars by being irredeemably terrible in every imaginable way, and understandably there's little appetite to revisit it.

 

I am not even going to read it I want there to be clone wars Era stuff. You don't that's fine but I think there will be.
