    While I agree, you could take advantage of the new full saga and use PT aliens or worlds in an OT setting. The OT era doesn't mean forget PT contributions, just advance them in time and feel to fit the OT.

    They have been.

    >Luminara in Rebels, plus clones and other character sin S2
    >Tons of references to different alien species and ships in Tarkin
    >Characters in A New Dawn include two Dexter/Krell aliens

    Plus we have Dark Disciple, Son of Dathomir, Kanan: TLP.

    They won't throw out the prequels. They're an essential part to Star Wars, and Disney is recognizing them, by releasing them on digital, and using the PT versions of characters like Yoda and Darth Vader and Chewbacca on marketing.

    Aha -- this made me think of something. It's possible they do have plans for prequel levels, but they've been put aside for expansion packs.

    If you want a quick peek, I believe there is a sample in the back of Dark Disciple, as well as within the Del Ray 2015 sampler. You should be able to find the latter on Kindle.

    I want it to happen as a ref to the old Battlefront games. As a sign that they've succeeded, they should then proceed to shoot a green holographic light into the air transmitting a rebel symbol. :p

    Also, Dexter/Krell aliens and Naboo in Princess Leia, geonosians, Seppi droids, and Padme in Darth Vader, and more PT droids in Marvel's Star Wars. All in all...there's been a good amount of PT stuff in the OT era without it feeling contrived.

    I guess the next Marvel series could be a Battlefront ongoing tie-in that takes place after the events of the novel, Twilight Company and look deep further on the Rebel Alliance.
