Capel (spelling) in the finale talked of how a Model 6 and 8 were heroes of the Cylon.

These new BG stories will start production soon. No idea what sort of format they will be in (live-action/CGI or animated). The first 'webisode' has a cryptic title. Go to the BG spoiler forum for the 'webisode' title. The Battlefield Caprica prequel is also to be first-run on Sci-Fi Channel's Pulse. These BG 'webisodes' could be the test-bed for the Caprica prequel.

They basically killed my favorite character.

Oh well, it was important for the story. No better way to go out than killing cylons!

 

Well, I have to say, I loved the most recent episode (Exodus Part II?)

The death was certainly heartbreaking - I was not expecting it the way it was done.

And, finally, Apollo's character makes sense as to why he always seemed to be holding back and was, IMO, a weaker character for it. Now, going back and looking at a few episodes, his character does "feel" right".

I actually watched this episode twice in a row and then again Sunday on DVD. Haven't done that since the days of Babylon 5!

There is hope for Sci-Fi (at least, on TV) after all!

PS

I recently rewatched some classic BGs on DVD. It is neat how some plot points from the original have been revisited in the new. I.E. Permanent settlement on a planet was touched upon in Saga of the Star World and the Pegasus taking on a superior number of Base Stars was, of course, shown in The Living Legend Part II. And, of course, it seems that Baltar will be with the Cylons more.

I believe that gives some validity to my theory that the Scrolls of Pythia (which stated that the Holocast happened before and will happen again) is the current production teams efforts to include old BG in new BG cannon.

Well, that is just my theory. No spoilers here, of course, just my crazy idea.

Issue 4 of the comic based on the new version of Galactica is in stores now.

Issue 1 of the Tom Zarek mini-series is now available in stores. VERY WELL DONE - A MUST HAVE!

I say that the dying and the Cylon part are one in the same.

I don't see it being the Adama's. Unless Lee was switched at one point but that's doubtful. You could say the same about Sharon but her parents were "dead" so it would make it easier to pass her past off as being human.

I have no fracking clue.
