    Well word has come down that Caprica (the BG prequel) will be a series. The opening pilot TV-movie is already finished. The 13 episodes of season 1 will start filming this summer. Caprica's first season is scheduled for early 2010. So for the count here is a tenative timeline of events for all things BG...

    Week from this friday - Fresh batch of webisodes will begin.

    January - Dynamite Comics begins the 4 issue epic CYLON WAR. This comic book series
    will be about the FIRST Cylon War.

    January 11 - Sci-Fi Channel presents a BG related special.

    January 16 - Second half of season 4 begins.

    March - ?Tokyopop? Manga Comics releases a comic book called BATTLESTAR GALACTICA - TALES
    FROM NEW CAPRICA    . Anthology of short stories set during the New Caprica sub-plot.

    March 20 - Final episode of the new version of BG.

    March Or Beyond - Release of the new BG TV-movie titled THE PLAN. This TV-movie is
    Cylon-centric.

    Summer 2009 - Filming of Caprica's first season begins.

    Fall 2009 - Release of Caprica's opening pilot episode?

    2010 - Release of Caprica's first 13 episodes.
