    Hello everyone!
I'm new to the boards and it's my first time posting Fan Art here. I do a bit of everything, from watercolour pencils to digital colouring, not patient enough to stick to one branch of drawing and master it :p

    Feels warned now!

    [:D]

But I am not afraid for that leads to the Dark Side.

    ;)

Anyway, I love them both. Especially the last one. You gave your female jedi master such a nice fragility by using the water colours so sublime.

    [face_love]

I also like to work with aquarell a lot!

*is also reminded in a character from ELF QUEST by looking at this painting*

But the Dark Side has cookies ;) or so everyone says.

Thanks, Azure, I'm glad you like them :)

Master Fay is actually an official EU character (one of the very few I know), and yes, she looks a bit elvish in the comic book.

Watercolours are great, aren't they? :)

I [face_love] your lady Elodore painting. The landscape, her features... wow! How did you paint it?

    Thank you [:D]

I use watercolours pencils, first make a sketch with some light colour, then the main outlines with dark grey colour, add water to the outlines, and colour the rest when the outlines are dry so the colours don't mix :) Nothing special.
If you have a laser printer it's easier to sketch with a normal pencil, scan, clean the lines, print and then colour, I've found this advice somewhere on deviantART, works great.

WOW love those different techniques you are using. (mine are all traditional. Oils take about 2 weeks for a little piece and more for big ones. And aquarel (those can be done in a day)

    And great poses and colouring.

The design of the dress in your artwork for your fanfic really stands out and catches the eye.

Your Master Fay looks delicate yet strong. I love the colours in her and especially in Lady Elodore Vane. The pose and landscape... very beautiful.

How long does it usually take you to create?
