What are we all up to tonight? I was disappointed there wasn't a week in review! I wanted to see my name Maybe I should volunteer.... do we have somebody already?
I'd love to stay and chat guys, but I have to do all those annoying sunday jobs like watering the garden and washing the car.
It's such a beautiful day here as well I might spend most of it outside for once.
Catch you guys later!
Nobody yet Tombo, but we have all day tomorrow...
See you later Kerryn
See you, Kerryn!
Tom, does that mean I can volunteer?
Yay!! I'll get to work right away (unless anyone objects)
No, we'd love you to do it, Tombo, as you're the new kid in town.
Cool with me Tombo
Just before I go, Casper, you might recognise this:
I woke up on a sunday
Passing through the town
We were heading for the border
I leaned against my window
Watched the headlights shine
Watched them wave to the sky
And when your hand came for me
Well you touched more than my skin
I was miles from nowhere
And you began to sing
I'm still working on it though!
Okay you guys, thanks. I'll have it up later tonight, mmmmmmmmkay?
I just went over 7000 posts. I wonder if I'm the fastest ever to do so. I'd wager that I'm in the top ten at least.
Not that it matters in the slightest of course
Nah, jamesdrax. But top ten, maybe. Maaaybe
Wow, cool, Kerryn.
Thanks a million!
Is that something that Kerryn wrote?
No, it's a song I've always loved, Tom. But I could never really hear the lyrics, so I asked Kerryn to transcribe them. That she did.
That song always chokes me up. It's here.
Um, I can't do WIR. It's for nominated peoples only, apparently.
Alright, we'll nominate you then.
It's okay Tombo, only the housemates can be nominated so just go for it. That's not really a rule that only nominated people can do it, it's just something we kind of decided.
I'm stepping out for a bit guys. Back in a few
What Tom said.
Cheer up, Bo!
As requested by Leila H, Elton John's "Crocodile Rock"!
I remember when rock was young
Me and Suzie had so much fun
holding hands and skimming stones
Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own
But the biggest kick I ever got
was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock
While the other kids were Rocking Round the Clock
we were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock
Well Crocodile Rocking is something shocking
when your feet just can't keep still
I never knew me a better time and I guess I never will
Oh Lawdy mama those Friday nights
when Suzie wore her dresses tight
and the Crocodile Rocking was out of sight
But the years went by and the rock just died
Suzie went and left us for some foreign guy
Long nights crying by the record machine
dreaming of my Chevy and my old blue jeans
But they'll never kill the thrills we've got
burning up to the Crocodile Rock
Learning fast as the weeks went past
we really thought the Crocodile Rock would last
Could somebody tell me Beaker's colors?
