FF:NZ BBQ at Graals house

OK Christchurch fan forcers, I'm having a flatwarming this Saturday, planning a bit of a BBQ from about 4pm on. Bring your own beverages and meat (will provide salads etc)

The police will probably proved the big flashing light when they come around for noise/crowd control.

 

Beer + BBQ + SFL = great time.

Beer + BBQ = average time.

BAH! Graal - don't eat that leg of Chamois! (hehe)

PS: Graal, you should buy souvlaki ingredients and make your own! I'm going to JP's tomorrow prob to cook up some souvlaki!

Chans, Ena, Graal: Went to JP's yesterday to do the whole Souvlaki thing. They liked it and I guess it passed the test.

no souvlaki nor spags for me for about 3 and a bit months

Maybe when you get back we can make chamois souvlakis

We're having Roast Chamois Leg for dinner tonight. Let ya know how we get on.

Edit = The chamois won't have any herbs/marinade (sp?) for the souvlaki - I think we would be better off just buying from Greek Recipe

JP's wife reckons the Greek Recipe get's their ingredients from Auckland. Strange as it may sound. So I'm not sure they could prepare the meat for us.

Nah!! thats good canterbury lamb in those souvlakis and they make the sauces and stuff (except maybe the pita breads) themselves.
Will have a hunt about thru my recipe books and see if I can find a greek kinda marinade mix

 

okeday - and you, having said that, reminds me that I think we were talking about the pita breads - what come from up here.
