FF:QLD BBQ - Saturday the 11th - Kangaroo Point

Thank you for your concern Otter, you saucy little aquatic carnivore. I'm mostly better now .

As for the picnic - I'll be there when I get there. I make no promises re: getting up time of a sat'dee. This will come as no surprise to most.

 

I don't know whether I'll actually be able to come anymore. It is really going to be dependent upon how work goes.

Yes, great fun was had by all at the BBQ . We had some lovely food and then played an excellent game of soccer!. It was me, MR Neech and Jedi Diplomat against Silmarillion, Luigi and Grieyls. To our misfortune, we lost 3-1!, but great fun was had by all . To add to the drama, our soccer ball fell into the Brisbane river , but a gallant Casual Jedi rescued it, but only after falling into the Brisbane River .

But well done Casual Jedi .

 

Besides I been going out alot lately, I am saving the trip to go see the Boggo Road Gaol open day. -Oola- works there

 

Sounds fun. Next BBQ is coming up soon.

 

It was an eventful day in which I:-

-Cooked a kilo of meat
-Ate a kilo of meat
-Played a game of Soccer
-Got the ball out of the Brisbane river.(Twice)
-Gashed my foot open. (Just like Sean Astin)
-Laughed un-controllably at Jedi-Diplomat's attempted save in the soccer match.
-Spewed up a kilo of meat by laughing so much.
-Scored our only goal in the soccer match.(I'm a bit of a ball hog)
-Went home.

All in that order.

Apparently my contribution on the soccer field were remarkably less than noteworthy.

We think so it did look like him, however untill the lab results come in we won't know for sure.

 

The next BBQ will most likely be held on the 25th. Is this date okay for everyone?
