I am putting my own computer together, FROM SCRATCH!
Unless you're making your own components it's easy.
I've made 4.
Well if you get stuck, you know where to turn to
Yes, that's right, the manual j/k
Seriously, good luck, the first time isn't easy...
I'll give you any help if you need it J.
how the hell u get the heat sink thingie on the cpu?
The thing normally has a brace.
Or it should just slot ontop of the CPU.
J's a nerd. J's a nerd. J's a nerd.
it got a brace...wella large metal thingie in the middle....but I dont know what I am suppose to do with each end coz it cant reach anything
Hmmmm... You've lost me.
You know. That thingamabobbie that goes with the thingimajiger is too short to fit on the whatsithing.
thats it beth
ugh my friend is suppose to be doing this but he told me today after I got home from work he cant do it, and I need a computer that works
why cant this thing go together easy!
It's not supposed to be easy, that's why the guys at TINY get payed too much.
It's easy m'dear the parts all slot together nicely... then you have a lovely new machine... trying to load the correct drivers is a NIGHTMARE though especially when Windows insists IT has the correct drivers and nothing will work...
what like £25 to put memory in a computer....that takes...oh a whole 5 ins of someone's time!
managed to get the motherboard and cpu in....but getting this cooler on the cpu is getting me, this clip thats in the middle just cant figure out what to do with it
I'm convinced they're purposely designed to be so arcane. Outdated cryptic technology.
I took mine apart to add some components and it looked like naked 3PO inside.
I blew the dust out of mine once. Oh, and I put in a sound card. But that's as brave as I ever want to be with computers. I rather like being a tech moron. It suits me.
no mine just has a motherboard at the moment and that is all
got loads of nice new things for it....but this BLOODY FAN WONT GO IN
If you end up with a jar full of bits you have no idea what they are for... KEEP em you will need them... not like me! I don't know what these are for I'll chuck them away I used to do that with my bike too... no wonder it never worked properly
Is it upside down?
I wouldnt have thought it was upside down it looks like it can only work one way
Are there any more bits lying about?
no, the fan was the only thing in the box
Without actually seeing it for myself I can't help.
What model is it?
And when all else fails, read the directions.
I put together a futon last weekend and didn't use them once! I'm so proud.
Beth there are no instructions... I wish I had someone to set this up for me. I put this off coz my friend said he would do it now I am doing it myself coz I done no homework as I dont have the software on here
