I.E., CA Becoming Star Wars Characters (Costuming Thread)

Here is where everyone who has or wants to make a costume can discuss, get help with, and trade ideas.

SO who here has a costume, who wants one and who is making one?

I have an Obi-wan Kenobi and a Younger-Kenobi costume and I am currently working on an Anakin Skywalker.

 

I have an Anakin Skywalker costume...you can see pics of it at my photo site. If anyone needs help with one, just PM me.

 

I have been reproducing period wardrobe from the 1750 - 1840 era, as well as the accoutrements and weapons(including the firearms) for such, for many years (close to twenty almost). My collection of outfits is quite extensive.

As far as Star Wars costuming goes, I have only been involved since late October. My first attempt was a hurriedly produced cyborgy-type affair with LEDs and a metal head contraption. I have subsequently been working on a fully self-made Mandalorian custom character. When it is finished, I anticipate having made every part of the costume except perhaps the gloves.
I have already begun work on a Tusken outfit as well.
Another interest I have in the SW costuming theme is in producing the blasters that many characters carry.

 

I am currently working on a female jedi concept costume.....however, I WILL own a Leia costume some day, and I've been seriously thinking of reproducing one of padme's.....

 

well if I didnt tell you already, and im sure i have , i'm gunna be a JAWA!! yay for me... bit too chipper you ask.. it's the cold talking ... I'm also considering be a Jedi too but i'm not sure

Finished the scratchbuilt fiberglass base mask for my Tusken today. Have to make the metal eye pipes, cast the aluminum teeth, and attach all these and the tusks(already have the 4 horns attached to the top).

Does anyone want updates as they occur? Or should I just keep all this to myself? I understand that Tuskens may not be a favorite on this primarily jedi board .

I'll most likely build a page for this costume like I am for the Mandalorian.

 

No thats grate Armon I need all the Sand peopel I can get because I am planing on doing a skit for comic con this year called "The Sene you did not see" Were I am in my Anakin costume and massacer the hole Tuscen villge. "And not just men, but the women and the children! I want it to be so crazy that it will be very hard to watch. But if you want I can make you one for the sand peopel that puts up a fight... a littel one that is.

 

So, where the heck is justin? i need that belt, my helmet will be here in like 3 days.
