Chic, IL Beer club! Take 3!

I'll do my absolute best to make it there. Since I'll be riding over straight from work, weather will be the biggest concern. I'll text goat if I'm not gonna make it, but odds are in favor of my attendance.

 

I should be there as well.

 

I will have a four pack of the much lauded GoatCrash IPA. I'm going to explore the idea of bringing something else as well. I'm not sure what but I might go way off the deep end into something really nutty.

 

Like Old Milwaukee? Anybody that drinks that HAS gone off the deep end.

 

A good friend of mine loves that stuff...for some strange reason....

I have to pass on this next one...which really sux cuz I wanted to try Goats brew!

That's two in a row I've missed, and I suck for it.

A farewell meeting that was supposed to happen Friday night got postponed til tonight, and it was one of those unavoidable things. By the time I got goat's reminder (~11:30pm), I was halfway through a bottle of absinthe and holding court for around ten consecutive rounds of @sshole on the south side. I really wish I could have gotten up to you guys, but that's one of those things you just can't walk away from.

Truly, I was a victim of circumstance.

 

Allow me to illuminate the degree to which I absolutely suck.

I was actually in Chicago this weekend for a VERY quick trip.

I had a car on Saturday night and was free just as Beer Club was probably kicking into high gear.

Yet, I didn't even connect the dots to attend.

I am really hating myself right about now. Not as much as I hate Lucas, but close.

 

This one was great fun. Tons of good beer was had and the variety was wide.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the GoatCrash IPA. We'll be brewing more very soon.

 

Yeah! I had a great time! Thanks for hosting, Mark!! Can't wait for the next one. I hope I can make it!
