Beer meetings are my favorite.

BTW Dajuan, I know it's off topic, but - I've got a case of the first VOTC figures on the way. I believe the case is supposed to break down as 4 Han, 4 Luke, 4 Obi-Wan and 4 Leia.

I'm thinking I'll keep at least one set for myself. You got anything good you might want to swap. That is, if you haven't picked them up already. Let me know.

 

I'm sure Eric and I will both want one of each. I don't have any thing to swap, as I've found nothing lately. But will you take cash or credit for future figures I'll owe you?

Where do you guys do the meetings? I remember before that F.Heights was mentioned; if that's where it is, that could be a problem - it'a almost an hour drive from here if there's traffic. Where do most of the people on this thread live, anyway? Just curious.

 

DarthShoey and Dagobah_Diva are both in Illinois, I'm in North County.

Generally we meet on the Landing at Show-Me's. The reason the last meeting was in Fairview was because it was the 4th of July and the Landing was too nuts to travel down there.

 

Plus I live right near to Dagobah_Diva and DarthShoey ... props to my home court *cough*

 

Hey who's in for the Beer meet this Saturday? I'm bringing my mom's best friend's niece (who is from Greece, her first trip to America) with me. I want to show her a good SW Beer Meeting time.

 

This Sat. is a possibility. Have to check with the boss.

This wedding is for someone my wife used to work with and hasn't seen for at least a year and I've never met. I call Bull**** Anyhow, don't get me started.

Let me know where the meeting will be and I'll see if I can give a "holla" when the reception is over. Can not make guarantees about my condition, i.e. I'll probably be 3 sheets to the wind.

But it's all good, I'm training for the Beer Olympics!!!

It's down the block from metro, not too far. Near Trainwreck and the um... ::cough:: adult shop. Best way I can describe it. Not sure the street name.

 

Across from the Spaghetti Factory. (Dajuan, I see you and I becoming great friends if you identify more with the adult store.) Still not sure if I can get there. My older daughter is going camping so she'll be gone, but no one is jumping forward to take care of the little pain in the butt.

 

well, it came and went ... was fun!

 

At least I can now say I have seen Kill Bill vol 1 ...

 

Yep, it was good fun. Next one's in a couple weeks. I think we're going to have to move it to the other Show-Me's because of that River Splash crap.
