EDIT: Perhaps he/they get captured, and they/DJ breaks them out, and then the put on the First Order outfits... Makes sense.

I doubt that, if only because, if Phasma were to recognize him when he (possibly, from the GIF of him looking regretful) turns over Finn and Rose, she'd likely murder him where he stood. And also because I doubt Cardinal would ever make a deal with the First Order, as it seems possible that DJ is.
