Best battle in the trilogy (Besides Hoth)

What, in your opinion, is the best, most exciting battle in the original trilogy?
Besudes the Battle of Hoth, since I'm pretty sure everybody thinks it's the best (Me included).

I really liked the Battle of Yavin in IV.

 

The Space Battle of Endor was incredible!

I would've said the entire Battle of Endor, which was fought on three fronts simultaneously (space, endor, throne room), but I'm not sure if that was a viable option.

 

IMO, the space battle over Endor was the most spectacular, but Yavin was the most exciting and tense.

 

I agree. Yavin is the more iconic and tense battle, whereas Endor is the more large-scale and spectacular battle.

 

Yavin, definitely.

And no, Hoth is not my favourite.

Yavin, incredible first battle to the trilogy.

 

I also really liked the boarding of Tantive IV, though that isn't really a battle.

Why besides Hoth? I personally find that the least interesting out of all the battles shown

Mine personally would be the whole escape sequence at Cloud City

 

I said that because everytime this question is asked, almost everyone says the Battle of Hoth.

Battle of Yavin is the best space battle, and the escape from Cloud City (best land battle) and lightsaber duel there are the best action sequences in the OT.
Also HM to the Speederbike chase.
Battle of Hoth is good as well.

 

Space Battle over Endor.

Just love all the details they put in with models no less.

 

Suck it up. Who cares if people put the Battle of Hoth? So be it.

 

yavin, and best lightsaber duel was rotj especially after luke snaps, I love the fights in the prequels but that duel was way more emotionally interesting. Williams music is powerful there too.

 

Endor because...Ewoks. And while I do like seeing Tarkin fail and the Death Star being blown up, I just like seeing the Empire actually fail once and for all and seeing all the victory celebrations.

But the Ewoks are incredible.

 

call me a contrarian but I feel Hoth is the worst battle in in the saga.

I fast forward it.

As for me...Lightsaber battles are more interesting than space battles.

 

Battle of Endor is the best simply because of John Williams! I am captivated by the music every time I listen to it!

 

The beginning music of the Space Battle of Endor and the entirety of the Battle of Yavin soundtrack are the best imo.

Besides Hoth, I'd say the Battle of Endor. Very complex and exciting. Felt like a real battle.
