Gd Rapids, MI Best Buy GR 11/01/05

I just got a message from Best Buy:

"I am writing regaurding the star wars episode 3 release. We spoke about a

month ago regaurding your legion/Fan Club participating in release event at the Best
Buy on Beltline. Unfortunately our store was not approved for a midnight
opening, however we were approved to open at 8 am on the 1st. I was
interested in finding out if you would still like to participate in our
event. You can respond via email or I am in the store every day except
Monday's and Friday's. I look foreward to hearing from you.

Is there anyone who can make that time? If you can make that time and are planning on sticking around for the afternoon/evening Suncoast event that day you are more than welcome to hang out at my house. If I can't get four of five people including myself, I will let Best Buy know we can not do this event. So far I have a Vader available to join us.

Is thier any new news about the Suncoast event?

 

It seems to me that the best buy in grandville had a midnight release the last few times,
maybe you should check them out...

 

The Grand Rapids area Best Buy stores are not on the midnight release list. I was told that they couldn't open at midnight because of cost issues.

With a few people saying that they are interested in going this event is a go. Some new information was sent to me today that may interest others who may want to join us...

We will be in the store as early as 5am. Yes there is a place where you can change into your costumes. I anticipate having a line before we open so if you could walk the line or "stand gaurd" at our store doors that would be great, after we open we had hoped to be able to offer customers photos with the costumers if possible. I have arranged it so that each member of your group will recieve a free copy of the movie for coming to our store....
