    Hey man, when you look at how many choices there are, 43% *is* a lot of votes.

    I think the fact Corran/Mirax got that many votes, prove theyve been better written than any others. (cept maybe L/H in Courtship and M/L in Heir)
    I think the 43% figure just shows how poorly Han and Leia have been managed in the books....I mean their the only couple in the films. (Well, maybe Luke/ Leia or Jabba/ dancer girl, but those dont count)

    True, Han and Leia make a great couple.
    And, yes, Luke and Mara make a good couple.

    But...

    I had to vote for my favorite couple and who I personally think is the best couple...

    What about Anakin and Tahiri? I'd vote for them, I think it's possibly the most moving story in the entire star wars saga.

    I'm gonna go with Anakin and Padme. Without them there would have been no Luke or Leia. Next choice Han and Leia.

    Han and Leia were done really well in the movies but not so in the books and especially the first part of the NJO.

    I thought Luke and Callista was pretty shallow and petty.

    On just romantic content I would say han and Bria.

    Anakin and Tahiri was done well and I think Lucas is going to do a good with anakin and padme in the next movie but that hasn't happened yet.

    anakin and padme are great too, but i suppose we'll have to wait til episode II to really see them together.

    and what's with all these callista fans? not that i have anything against her, but you guys don't speak up very often in the other boards.

    My vote goes to the original, the best union:

    Han and Leia.

    All the others are OK, except for Jaina and that stuffed shirt uber-pilot IMP :p
