Best Death

i think the true anakin's death in episode 3 was the best... i cried every 11 times i saw it... lol


but for classic trilogy... obi-wan... he smiled as he died... very selfless and very qui-gonn

 

Best death for me was Vader. Followed by OBI-Wan.

 

I have quite a few

Vader-You already have
Palps-Ahhhhhhhhh a good old traditional scream
Piett - Intensify forward firepower (one of the greatest lines both becasue of the actor and the line)
Ozzel-gurgling
Green Leader - I'm hiiittt

 

Best death? Obi-Wan, hands down.

Almost every character has a good death. I would like to honor all those stormtroopers who's chests lit on fire when they were shot. haha. also the weequay or whatever it was that got that perfect shot right into the sarlaac without hitting the teeth, tentacles or anything.

 

I'm surprised none of the guys here have mentioned Oola.

 

The A-Wing gut. He took an entire Super Star Destroyer down with him! That's what a blaze of glory.

Also, anyone who fell into the Sarlaac are not dead. Just rithing in agony.

 

IMO, Palpatine.
That is such a key scene.
1. The death of the Emperor/end of the main villain of the Saga.
2. Vader/Anakin's turn back to the Light Side, and saving his son.

Not to mention it is the basically the one scene that the Saga was built around. This was a tail of Good and Evil, the nature of Evil and the redemption of those who fall to evil. How love can change even the blackest of hearts. That scene was the point of the Saga IMO, Vader finally makes the right choice.
Not to mention the nice fall, explosion, lightning, wind, it was all very well done.

Best death overall: Obi-Wan

 

overall it has to be TIE pilot in the asteroid field, but major character wise, have to say vader/anakin.

 

The crash into the Super Star Destroyer for shere spectical. Saddest death Yoda, tied with Ben, and Anakin. Most joyous death Darth Vader. He died, IMHO, when he picked up The Emperor to cast him into the Chasm. Other saddest death. The death of "Bring my Shuttle" from the ORIGINAL ESB.

 

I like the suicide sacrifice of the A-wing in the Super Star Destroyer it was a perfect hit and it looked cool. Just one hit in the command deck and then the Death Star's magnetic field pulled it in. Porkins' death was funny. He should've listened to Biggs. Crazy.

 

Yoda and Qui Gon .

 

I guess i could throw in Tarkin's death in ANH in addition to my first post. "Evacuate? In our moment of triumph? I think you overestimate their chances!!" that statement and the way he looks so calm watching as the death star has Yavin in its sights. and then (in C-3PO voice) "BOOOOOOM!"

 

Moff Tarkin is arrogance would be his demise.
