It is basically the same as the thread I posted on the classical thrilogy part. Who has the best death in the prequels. Again, they don't have to be violent, any death can apply.

    1. Jango Fett-Shooting at a Jedi master, foiled by a faulty jetback, and decapitated. All the while as his "son" Boba watches

    2. Mace Windu-Hand lopped off, engulfed by Force lightning, and flung out a thirty story window.

I would say Qui-gon, but the best death was all of the Jedi who died from Order 66.

I'd say Agen Kolar. He put up a good fight, the whole 3 seconds of it.

but really I'd say Mace Windu. He got his wish from GL, and didn't go out like a punk.

It's a tie between Dooku and the "Lightsaber Scisors" and Maul being cut in half

    I'm with jedimaster11 there...same list.

I would add, my daughter (she was 3 at the time) said about Darth Maul "He lost his pants and his boots!"

I'm gonna say Shmi. I found it the best acted and powerful scene of the entire PT.

Order 66 Jedi for the best open-mouthed, ohmigod-they're-all-dead dramatic shockness.

Qui-Gon's death for *the* ultimate NOOOOOOOOO! moment. Still scream along with Obi when I see it.

Not necessarily the actual death, but Dooku's face prior to his execution is great. He's finally figured out the depth of Sidious' betrayal.

And Mace's death was just scary. There's something about it that gives me the chills: Palpatine has absolutely no remorse as he fries Mace's head and sends him flying. Powerful stuff.

Zett Jukassa's death *scene* was good, but his actual death was pretty poor. Still kicked ass, though.

Anakin closing Shmi's eyes was a nice and very understated moment.

oh, don't remind me, every time I see that scene all I can think of is: how can they actually steal the cheesy preprogrammed fighting styles from a jedi academy cheat?? that's too cheap..
btw... shift/~/ikonwkungfu[face_laugh] apparently master yoda does too:D

...so I'll vote order 66 deaths, definatly not a let down

The order 66 deaths were the most moving, but I think that Count Dooku has the saddest death.
