Here's one for you think about: In ANH, C-3PO tells Luke that he is not good at telling stories while Luke is cleaning him at he Lar's homestead and then in ROTJ he spins an elaborate yarn recounting the happenings of ANH and ESB for the Ewoks. How in the world does that slip through the great mind of GL? I would say that that is a major mistake.
